Why "Whitby Gothic Festival"? Well, simply because the original weekend has become much, much more, and events tend to stretch over the period of a week; "Weekend" no longer does justice to the twice-annual event.

WGF is here to promote "Alternative Whitby" activities, but will also promote other events across the U.K., and not just ones that occur over the Whitby period.

WGF is also here to promote any U.K. Goth/Gothic businesses, bands, DJs, radio shows ... whatever. I'm sure you get the picture.
